Recently, German photovoltaic project developer and EPC company Juwi Renewable Energy announced that it has won the contract to build two large-scale photovoltaic power plants in Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam, and has successfully entered the Vietnamese market
.
Juwi said it has signed two EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts with BIM Group in Vietnam and AC Energy in the Philippines to build a 50MW and 30MW solar plant
in Ninh Thuan province.
Juwi's Regional Director for Asia Pacific said, "For Juwi, these projects represent an important milestone for Vietnam as we continue to expand our footprint
in the country's fast-growing solar market.
Once completed, the plants are expected to add more than 125 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity
to Vietnam's national grid each year.
”
According to the company, upon completion of the project, Juwi will also provide O&M services
for both plants for at least the next five years.
