On November 23, the world's largest innovative organic peroxide production site in Nouron celebrated the groundbreaking of the world's Nangang Industrial Zone
.
After the ceremony, Fan Borui, Senior Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain of Norion Asia Pacific, and Li Zhiping, Sales Director of Norion Polymer Specialty Chemicals Asia Pacific, were interviewed by this reporter, sharing their achievements in base construction, sustainable development and innovation, as well as their confidence
in increasing investment and development in China.
Committed to investment and long-term development in China
Charlie, Chairman and CEO of Nollyon
Shaver said: "For Nourion, Asia is an important growth market for Nollyon, and China is an important strategic market
for thriving growth.
The new organic peroxide base in Tianjin is a milestone for the
company's development.
He said that Norion is focused on working with partners along the value chain in the region to create sustainable and innovative solutions that meet the needs
of society today and in the future.
According to Borui, Nourion has 7 production bases and 1 Asia-Pacific office
in China.
Among them, it has three plants
in Tianjin, Ningbo and Jiaxing to produce organic peroxides and alkyl metals.
"Nourion has a long history of investment in China, with a history of more than
30 years in Tianjin.
We are very confident in China and the Chinese market and hope to continue to develop in China
.
At the same time, we will continue to invest in China because the Chinese market is huge and growing
.
Fan Borui said
.
The new site supports the polymer industry
Fan Borui said that the Tianjin Nangang base is the world's largest peroxide production base and the second largest production plant
in China.
With a total site area of 140,000 square meters, the site consists of three production facilities with a designed annual capacity of 40,000 tons and can produce many different types of peroxides, which will support the development of
the polymer industry in Asia.
Li Zhiping said that after the Tianjin Nangang base was put into operation, the products produced mainly included organic peroxide and methyl ethyl ketone
peroxide.
In addition to being equipped with the latest technology in the field of safety and production processes, the site also has the world's most advanced wastewater and other environmental treatment systems, which significantly reduce waste and exhaust emissions
.
Li Zhiping said that in the composite material industry, Nourion's peroxide articles have a complete range and a high
market share.
With the commissioning of the new plant in Tianjin, Norion's supply capacity to customers has also been further improved
.
In short, due to the safety and excellent quality of the products produced in the Tianjin plant, Nourion is very attractive
to customers in the composites industry.
These advantages also ensure that the company can continue to provide customers with high-quality and competitively priced products
.
The Chinese market demand provides new opportunities for development
"At present, China's share of the global chemical market is close to 40%, and the Chinese market has the greatest growth opportunity in terms of the
entire chemical market.
" Li Zhiping introduced
.
Li Zhiping said that in recent years, with the support of national policies for new materials and their downstream products in aerospace, consumer electronics, new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, biomedical and other fields, market demand has continued to expand
.
As a result, the rapid growth of polymer demand in the fields of polyvinyl chloride, polyolefin, composite materials and rubber crosslinked products, coupled with the continuous improvement of product performance requirements, has driven the demand
for upstream raw materials such as organic peroxides.
Fan Borui said: "At present, 85% of Norion's organic peroxide products in the Asia-Pacific region have been locally produced
.
Through the new Tianjin site, our customers in China and Asia have access to reliable local supplies, including high-quality and competitively priced products, as well as security services
.
This is because organic peroxides are hazardous chemicals, with high activity characteristics, high requirements for safe production and storage and transportation, we provide customers not only products, but also safe transportation, storage, use and training
.
”
Fanboyui also stressed that Nolion has a long history of developing sustainable manufacturing and sustainable products, and they are studying with suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint of raw materials and working with
relevant chemical parks on renewable energy.
