Recently, the international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification organization TUV Rheinland Greater China (hereinafter referred to as "TUV Rheinland") has become JinkoSolar Holdings Co.
JinkoSolar’s CEO Chen Kangping said: “JinkoSolar’s 163 series and 182 series photovoltaic modules have been awarded the TUV Rheinland Carbon Footprint Certificate, marking that we have made tangible progress in reducing carbon emissions and effectively using energy.
It is understood that product carbon footprint refers to the total carbon emissions of a product or service throughout its life cycle
Fang Weimin, vice president of management system services for TUV Rheinland Greater China, said that manufacturing companies can adopt a “three-step” strategy to implement “carbon neutrality”.
Up to now, TUV Rheinland’s product carbon footprint verification has covered various fields such as complete vehicles and their parts, consumer electronics, photovoltaics, batteries, power products, chemicals, textiles, and transportation services
