Civic Solar currently offers Jinko's Eagle (no PID) and MX (optimized) modules
to its customers.
On May 10, 2016, JinkoSolar Holdings Co.
, Ltd.
announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, JinkoSolar (USA) Corporation, has signed a master purchase agreement
with Civic Solar of California.
Civic Solar is a full-service solar PV distributor
in the United States.
Under the terms of this agreement, Jinko has been selected by Civic Solar as a preferred partner and will account for 25%
of CivicSolar's module sales.
Civic Solar currently offers Jinko's Eagle (without PID) and MX (optimized) modules
to its customers.
Jinko's Eagle series modules prevent potential-induced attenuation effects, allowing installers to use transformerless inverters
.
MX components have three optimizers in the junction box for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of the battery string, improving contamination and shadow resistance, and enabling more compact system designs
.
Both types of panels increase energy access
.
Stuart Rentz, President of CivicSolar, said: "Civic Solar is excited to partner with JinkoSolar as a company dedicated to providing customized product solutions
based on our customers' needs.
”
Nigel Cockroft, Managing Director of JinkoSolar, added: "JinkoSolar has made this distribution market one of its priorities and is pleased to announce an agreement
with CivicSolar.
