and INVISTA Advanced Technologies have signed a technology agreement with Jiangsu Jiatong Energy Co.
, Ltd.
, authorizing Jiatong to use INVISTA’s latest purified terephthalic acid (PTA) process technology to build two sets of PTA production Device.
It is reported that Jiatong Energy's first PTA device is expected to start up in April 2022 .
Adam Sackett , vice president of the PTA business of INVISTA , said that the two PTA production units are located in Rudong County, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, and both adopt INVISTA's two-line design and P8++PTA technology.
Based on the proven P8 technology, the variable cost, investment productivity and environmental performance of P8++ technology will set a new industry benchmark.
