Recently, the continuous automatic sand conveying device independently developed by Jianghan Petroleum Engineering Downhole Testing Company has successfully realized on-site application, which has increased the construction efficiency by 3 times compared with traditional crane sand feeding.
Shale gas fracturing uses a large amount of sand, with hundreds of cubic meters per section, and thousands of cubic meters of fracturing sand are required for fracturing of dozens or hundreds of sections in a well.
The underground testing company set up a research team to transform and test three types of sand conveying devices: screw auger type, double bin crawler type and vertical bucket lift type, and finally finalized the double bin type continuous automatic sand conveying device.
After being used on-site by 8 wells on the Jiaoye 6 West Platform, the continuous automatic sand transport device can effectively guarantee the 24-hour continuous construction operation requirements of electric fracturing and achieve the expected results, and provide guarantee for the automatic upgrade of shale gas fracturing.
