Recently, a new photovoltaic power plant
with an output of about 32.
697MW is being built at the former site of Kunitomi Golf Course in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan.
The power plant, wholly owned by Miyazaki Kamenoka Solar Co.
, Ltd.
, is named Miyazaki Kamenoka Photovoltaic Power Station and is scheduled to be completed in January 2017
.
The construction of the Miyazaki Kamenoka photovoltaic power plant is based on the former site of the "Kamenoka Village Club", which closed in September 2014
.
It is leased
from the landowner, Marugo Sangyo Corporation.
The installed capacity of solar panels is about 32.
697MW, and the rated output of photovoltaic inverters (PCS) is 29.
7MW.
The annual power generation is expected to be about 40,000 MWh, which is equivalent to the electricity
consumption of about 11,000 ordinary households.
The design and construction of the Miyazaki Kamenoka photovoltaic power plant is supervised by NTT facilities
.
The construction works were handled by MECSS of Japan, and the electrical works were handled by Kyowa EXEO, Western Electric Industry, SYSKEN, COMSYS and
Meikosha.
The solar panels are manufactured by Suntech Power Japan, and the PCS is manufactured by Hitachi Manufacturing (660kW model, 45 units), and the installation
is made of NTT facilities.
