    According to statistics recently released by the Japan Wire and Cable Manufacturers Association, from January to February this year, the cumulative shipment of copper wire and copper cable in Japan (including domestic demand and exports, the same below) reached 112,506 tons, down 5.

    Among them, Japan's copper cable shipments were 58,352 tons in February, compared with 59,838 tons
    in the same period last year.

    From January to February, Japan's copper cable exports totaled 2,477 tons, down 54.

    Among them, in January, copper cable exports were 738 tons, a new low
    in the past two years.
