According to recent news from Asia Lubricant Weekly, the consumption of finished lubricants in Japan in May increased by 32% compared with the same period last year

According to data recently released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, as one of the world’s six largest lubricant markets, Japan’s consumption of lubricants in May was 129,577 kiloliters (117,000 tons), a significant increase from 98,100 kiloliters in the same month in 2020.
