On October 18, Kamsari, director of international affairs at Iranian Oil Company, revealed that Japan and South Korea will lead other countries in buying Iranian oil, especially Japan, and expect supplies from 100,000 barrels per day to 350,000 barrels
per day after oil trade sanctions are lifted.

Currently, Iran is Japan's sixth-largest importer of crude oil, accounting for just 3 percent of the country's oil demand, far behind Saudi Arabia's one-third market share
    in the country.
In 2000, Iranian oil once accounted for 10% of Japan's total demand, but after sanctions it was reduced to 5%
    in 2014.
With the lifting of oil trade sanctions, Iran will become Japan's
third or fourth largest supplier of crude oil.
    Kamsari said Japan imports 3.
5 million barrels per day of oil and has pledged to boost Iranian oil imports in the post-sanctions phase
