On April 20, Dow (DOW) announced the addition of a revolutionary product to its INNATETM family of precision packaging resins, INNATETMTF biaxially oriented polyethylene resin, to meet industry demands
for high performance, consumer convenience and recyclability.
The product achieves the goal of
commercial viability of biaxially oriented polyethylene (TF-BOPE) films in the packaging industry.
INNATETMTF resins have unique physical properties that can be replaced by materials to achieve film structure simplification or thinning, thereby reducing the amount of
packaging material used.
TF-BOPE film can be used directly on the printed layer of packaging and can also be used with other PE functional layers to achieve all-PE packaging, which is easier to recycle and improve sustainability
