WACKER officially opened its new production site in South Korea on April 24 with an investment of around €15 million at its new silicone elastomer production site

in Jincheon, South Korea.

WACKER has been producing silicone sealants locally since 2010 and specialty silicone rubbers
for the electronics industry since 2012.
The new production site is four times larger than before, providing sufficient space
for further expansion of production capacity in the future.
At the heart of the site is a 13,000-square-meter production facility that can be used to produce silicone sealants for construction and silicone rubber products
for electronics applications.
In addition, the production site is specially equipped with a clean room
for the production and packaging of high-purity silicones.
