Praxair Gas Supply to Yara-BASF's ammonia plant
Praxair Corporation (PX) has begun supplying hydrogen and nitrogen to Yara and BASF's world-class ammonia plant in Texas
.
Under a long-term agreement, Praxair supplies the plant with approximately 4.
81 million cubic meters of hydrogen and 2,000 tons of nitrogen per day

To support the project, Praxair invested more than $400 million to increase hydrogen and nitrogen capacity and extend the Gulf Coast pipeline system from Texas City to nearly 50 miles into the
Freeport area.
