started construction of a 240,000-ton ethylene glycol project synthesized from coke oven gas.
The project uses coke oven gas as raw material, and produces ethylene glycol with a capacity of 240,000 tons through gas cabinet storage, pressurization, pure oxygen non-catalytic conversion, desulfurization and decarburization, fine desulfurization, syngas separation and purification, ethylene glycol
synthesis and rectification.
Peking University Pioneer undertook the construction of coke oven gas separation and purification CO plant (output 25098 Nm 3/h, purity >99%) and H2plant (output 53512 Nm3/h, purity > 99.
9%)
for this project.
In recent years, Peking University Pioneer has established rich performance in the field of pressure swing adsorption separation and purification of CO and H2in the field of syngas to ethylene glycol, and its reliable process technology has provided stable and high-quality CO and H2products
for more than ten ethylene glycol projects that have been put into production in China.
Moreover, in the case of high nitrogen content of raw gas, the pressure swing adsorption purification CO equipment will not be affected, and can still maintain the operating indicators of high purity, high yield and low energy consumption, which is a technical advantage that cannot be achieved by
other conventional gas separation technologies.
The process of coke oven gas synthesis of ethylene glycol enables the coking park gas to be converted into chemical products with better efficiency on site, and finds a new way
out for the efficient utilization of coke oven gas.
Pressure swing adsorption purification CO andH2 technology solves the problem of efficient purification of CO from raw gas, obtains economical and feasible gas separation solutions, and provides technical support
for coke oven gas to ethylene glycol industry.
