California Proposition 65 adds two new substances

A few days ago, the California Office of Environmental and Health Risk Assessment (OEHHA) issued a notice that CI disperse yellow 3 and 2,6-dimethyl-N-nitrosomorpholine two substances were added to the California Proposition 65 carcinogen list

The two new substances have a wide range of industrial applications

CI disperse yellow 3 is mainly used in dyes, inks, plasticizers, textiles and pulp and paper production and other fields, while 2,6-dimethyl-N-nitrosomorpholine is mainly used in industrial oils, rubber products, and is also a chemical semi-finished product
in other industrial processes.

The results showed that CI-dispersed yellow 3 and 2,6-dimethyl-N-nitrosomorpholine were carcinogenic

Therefore, California's Proposition 65 included these two substances in the list of
