Recently, DSM announced that it will launch the first fast-acting vitamin ampli-D for dietary supplements in the Asia-Pacific region, which can more effectively meet the concerns and needs
of global consumers for protecting immune health.
Ampli-D is first available in Australia and will enter the global market
next.
DSM introduced AMPLI-D, the main ingredient is calcifediol, which is a common form of
vitamin D in the human body and blood.
Relevant studies and clinical tests have shown that the effect of calcifediol is 3~5 times
that of ordinary vitamin D3.
Ampli-D is approved
by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
Peter Van Dael, Senior Vice President of Nutrition Science at DSM, said: "It usually takes several months for vitamin D in the body to reach healthy levels
in the blood.
With AMPLI-D, calcifediol, a common form of vitamin D in the body, can also be used as a dietary supplement, taking weeks to get vitamin levels in the body to optimal status in the body
in months.
