Evonik expands transparent polyamide production capacity Evonik is expanding its TROGAMID^®CX brand transparent polyamide capacity
at the Marl chemical park to meet the growing global demand
for high-performance polymers.
The company will expand production through targeted debottlenecking and comprehensive optimization measures for production
management departments.
The expansion project is scheduled to be completed
in the first quarter of 2020.
The project will double
Evonik's ability to produce transparent, high-performance materials.

Ralf Düssel, Head of the Performance Polymers Business Line at Evonik, said: "The expansion of our production capacity for transparent polyamides at the Marl Chemical Park is another step
