BASF and Aspen Aerogels expand strategic partnership BASF Europe and Aspen Aerogels recently signed an exclusive supply supplement agreement, announcing the expansion of their strategic partnership

The supplementary agreement covers the production and supply
of new high-performance flame retardant insulation products.
COMPLEMENTING THE CURRENT FLAME RETARDANT INSULATION TECHNOLOGY SLANTEX , THE NEW PRODUCT EXCELLED
IN EARLY TESTS WITH MAJOR CUSTOMERS.
As part of the supplementary agreement, Aspen has received a second advance payment from BASF to support product optimization and new process development

Rui Yang, President of BASF's Performance Materials business unit, said: "The successful development of our products will enable us to better serve the fast-growing market
for high-performance insulation.
This innovative product will expand our portfolio
in the high-performance insulation market.
The supplemental agreement will accelerate the global launch and use
of new fire and ultra-efficient aerogel insulation technologies.
