Polyamide materials provide comprehensive material support for printed circuit board connectors DSM Group (DSM) has recently developed a portfolio of high-performance and high-temperature resistant polyamide ForTii^®Ace reflow soldering materials that provide a full range of material support

for printed circuit board (PCB) connectors for automotive electronics.

DSM's ForTii^® series offers a range of reflow soldering material solutions that meet the flame
retardant grades of both V0 and HB.
All products in this series provide a comprehensive solution for PCB reflow soldering connectors and components for automotive electronic systems such as batteries (EPS), body electronics, infotainment systems, and advanced driver assistance systems
(ADAS).
For example, FAKRA connectors, board-end Fakra connectors often use reflow soldering and specify 14 color codes
for various signals.
DSM offers a wide range of colored compounds, as well as natural pigments and masterbatches to create the desired color
