Kansai Paint Completes Acquisition of Helios Group Recently, Japan's Kansai Paint Co.
, Ltd.
announced that it has completed the acquisition
of all shares of European paint manufacturer Helios Group
for 70 billion yen.
Kansai Paint signed a share purchase agreement on December 6, 2016 to acquire all shares
of the Helios Group, a European paint manufacturer.
According to the data, the Helios Group's operating income in 2016 was 370 million euros, a year-on-year increase of 17%; Gross profit increased by almost 5% to €
58 million.
