It was learned from the Fujian Institute of Material Structure of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that a few days ago, the institute signed the "Cooperation Contract for the Second Generation Coal-to-Ethylene Glycol Pilot Project" and the "Cooperation Contract for the Annual Output of 600,000 Tons of Coal-to-Ethylene Glycol Project in Xingren County
" with Guizhou Jingyu Energy Investment Co.
, Ltd.
and the People's Government of Xingren County.
The research and development of second-generation coal-to-ethylene glycol technology is an important research and development content of the breakthrough of the "135" plan of Fujian Institute of Structural Engineering - the deployment of "new nanocatalytic materials for efficient utilization and replacement of precious metals", and the formal signing of this technology pilot test and industrialization cooperation marks a major breakthrough in the "135" plan of Fujian Institute of Structural Engineering, and will continue to lead the development direction
of international coal-to-ethylene glycol technology.
Since 2008, on the basis of the first-generation coal-to-ethylene glycol technology, with the support of the strategic leading science and technology project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Major Scientific Problem-oriented Project, the 973 Project and the whole institute, the research group headed by researcher Yao Yuangen has worked together to research and develop a complete set of second-generation coal-to-ethylene glycol technology
with complete intellectual property rights, including new high-efficiency and low-cost catalysts and technologies, and new process technologies 。 Compared with the first-generation technology, the second-generation coal-to-ethylene glycol technology further optimizes the process flow, realizes the reduction of the loading capacity of precious metals of the catalyst and the replacement of toxic metals, greatly improves the performance and life of the catalyst, and greatly reduces
the cost.
