Lyondell Basel and Suez have announced that they have
formed a joint venture called Mass Cycle Polymers (QCP).
The two companies are each half
owned.
The joint venture is located in Stadherlen, the Netherlands, a high-quality plastic recycling company

The joint venture will take full advantage of both companies, and SUEZ will use its technology to assist in the identification, preparation and separation
of raw materials for the new company.
LyondellBasels will offer its expertise in plastics production technology and product development, as well as knowledge of end markets such as consumer goods

The QCP plant converts recycled post-consumer waste plastic into PE and PP materials
.
The plant currently has an annual conversion capacity of 25,000 tons of polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
By 2020, the production capacity is expected to reach 100,000 tons
