    The Chinese Academy of Sciences and Guizhou Province jointly developed high-end phosphorus-based flame retardants

    Recently, the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Engineering Technology Center for Composite Modified Polymer Materials, Guizhou Yuanyi Mineral Group Co.

    and the People's Government of Weng'an County signed a cooperation agreement in Weng'an County, Guizhou Province, to jointly promote the development and industrialization
    of phosphorus-based flame retardants for new high-temperature engineering plastics.
    Tian Shenrong, deputy director of Ningbo Institute of Materials, Xu Ziping, general manager of Guizhou Yuanyi Mining Group Co.
    , Ltd.
    , and Qin Shuhao, executive deputy director of the National Composite Modified Polymer Engineering Technology Center, signed
    on behalf of all parties.

    The current miniaturization of electronics and electrical appliances and the adoption of new processes such as tin-free electric welding have led the entire industry to turn to new engineering plastics
    with superior thermal stability, chemical stability and mechanical properties.
    In this new field, the traditional halogen-free flame retardant can no longer meet the requirements of processing or performance, the development of halogen-free flame retardant with high thermal stability, chemical stability, good electrical properties and high flame retardant performance, especially high-end phosphorus-based flame retardant is becoming a hot spot
    in the world flame retardant industry.
