    On March 8, BASF and Toda Kogyo signed an agreement
    to establish BASF Toda USA LLC.
    The new company, which will be primarily controlled and managed by BASF, will produce and sell high-energy lithium nickel-cobalt-manganate (NCM) and nickel-cobalt-aluminate (NCA) cathode active materials
    for e-mobility applications through two production facilities in Ohio and Michigan.

    Kenneth Lane, President of BASF's Global Business Unit Catalysts, said: "The establishment of BASF Toda USA is another strategic move
    by BASF in the Battery Materials business area.
    With this investment, BASF further realizes its strategic vision to build a global production network for battery materials to meet evolving market demands
