Malvern's quadruple detector gel permeation chromatography (GPC) system includes Malvern's latest Viscotek SEC-MALS 20-angle light scattering detector with 20 detection
angles, in addition to aberration, viscosity and PDA UV detectors 。 These detectors are integrated in a chromatographic temperature control system, which can collect all detector signals at the same time during a test, and provide the absolute molecular weight Mw, Mn, Mz, molecular weight distribution, intrinsic viscosity IV of the polymer, Mark-Houwink curve of the polymer, the size of the polymer line group and the composition information of the copolymer, which greatly enriches the characterization means and provides strong data support
for scientific research.

At present, Shanghai Jiao Tong University has fully applied the instrument to its biopharmaceutical-related research work
