Clariant's three "Codes for Beauty" products are unveiled

At the 2014 China International Cosmetics, Personal & Home Care Ingredients Raw Materials Exhibition held on February 19~21, Clariant's Specialty Industrial & Consumer Business Unit showcased three "Beauty Code" products – Plantasens, Nipaguard Zero and Aristoflex BLV
.

Designed with the concept of "perfect senses, from nature", Plantasens' natural ingredients include plant actives, special emulsifiers, waxes and a wide range of emollients such as vegetable oils, natural butters, as well as alternatives
to silicone, petroleum and lanolin.
Most Plantasens products are Ecocert 1 certified to meet the development requirements of
natural cosmetics.

New to the Plantasens product line, Olive Squalane is a certified, 100% olive-derived squalane that is a completely eco-friendly ingredient that delivers a silky smooth feel and long-lasting hydration for face, body or sunscreen applications

Based on Clariant's innovative patented 100% renewable Velsan® SC synergist, four new NipaguardZero Zero blends are halogen- and formaldehyde-free for washable and leave-on applications, wipes and hard-to-preserve formulations

Nipaguard® Zero preservative blends have been extensively tested to the highest standards to effectively deliver performance
at levels comparable to traditional preservatives.

Aristoflex BLV is a new addition to Clariant's versatile Aristoflex polymer portfolio, which adds a touch of luxury to all skincare formulations thanks to its soft, velvety texture

Suitable for all skin types and ages, the product can be added to any formulation step and has excellent solvent compatibility, making it ideal for thin emulsion formulations, pre-neutralized and ready to use
