BASF has launched two new environmental initiatives

BASF has recently launched new environmental solutions
for chemical production and wastewater treatment.

VOCatTM catalyst product familyThe newly introduced VOCat 200 series of patented products consists of extremely efficient base metal catalysts and honeycomb carriers to help purified terephthalic acid manufacturers control exhaust emissions
from their production processes.
The product can be used stand-alone or in combination with precious metal technology in
VOCat hybrid catalyst systems.

Zetag?ULTRA ultra-high molecular weight cationic powder flocculants are mainly used in the field of solid-liquid separation in the industrial and municipal wastewater treatment industries, aiming to meet the future equipment trends
of the dewatering market.
Thanks to its excellent polymerization capacity, Zetag® ULTRA has excellent dewatering properties
.
It maintains good floc integrity at high shear forces and is particularly suitable for applications
such as centrifuges and dissolved air flotation.
Customers report an average increase in solid cake volume after sludge dewatering
.
Other customer cases have shown that the average usage can be reduced by up to 20%.
