PPG Industries' Industrial Protection & Marine Coatings division has launched the SIGMA NEXEONTM range of copper-free antifouling coatings to help customers meet the cutting-edge needs
of future industry laws and regulations.

The SIGMA NEXEONTM series is a completely copper-free antifouling product concept, one of the significant advantages of which is its smoothness
from the very beginning of construction.
Due to the absence of copper ions, the smoothness of the coating surface after application is also greatly improved, thus ensuring better fuel efficiency
from the start.
Another advantage of this coating product is its appearance and does not show the "whitening" phenomenon
common in ordinary coatings.
In this range, SIGMA NEXEON 710 is designed for transport vessels and can be applied during ship construction and dry docking; For newbuilds with an outfitting time of more than 6 months, SIGMA NEXEON 750 highly active copper-free antifouling topcoat is the ideal choice
.
Both products combine high performance with unique self-polishing zinc acrylic binder technology to protect ships from damage
during construction and operation.
