ChemOne Group, Singapore ChemOne, a world-class aromatics plant
in Indonesia, recently announced that it has invested US$3.
38 billion in the Malaysian state of Johor to build the Pengelang Energy Complex (PEC).

The company said the project will start in the second half of 2020 and is scheduled to be completed
in four years.

When completed, PEC will have a processing capacity of 150,000 b/d of condensate and 2.
3 million mt/year of aromatics

The main raw material of the aromatic hydrocarbon plant is aromatic naphtha
separated from condensate.
