WACKER expands dispersion capacity
at its Burghausen site on February 23 TO ANNOUNCE THAT IT WILL EXPAND ITS POLYMER BINDER PRODUCTION LINE AT ITS BURGHAUSEN SITE IN GERMANY WITH A NEW 60,000-TONNE DISPERSION REACTOR
.
The production capacity and local infrastructure expansion project will invest around EUR 25 million, and the production line is scheduled to be completed
by the end of 2017.

Explaining the investment, Dr.
Rudolf Staudig, President and CEO of Wacker Chemie AG, said: "WACKER continues to grow
profitability by expanding its existing production lines.
The expansion of our production capacity will continue to strengthen our position as one of the world's leading producers of dispersions and dispersible polymer powders and will enable WACKER to better meet the growing demand of
our customers.
”
