In the finals of the 4th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, which ended recently, Tianjin Polytechnic University won the crown
with its comprehensive treatment technology project of petroleum emulsion.

The treatment of crude oil production liquid by traditional technology needs to first divide the production liquid into two layers, then add demulsifier to the oil-in-oil production solution in the upper layer, and add clean water agent and flocculant
to the oil-in-water production solution in the lower layer.
Yan Feng, associate professor of Tianjin Polytechnic University, developed "Oil Ba", is an oil-water separation agent that realizes the combination of demulsifier and clean water agent
.
With this oil-water separation agent, the one-time treatment of the produced liquid can be realized, which greatly simplifies the treatment process of the crude oil production liquid, and saves the treatment cost of about 0.
5 yuan per cubic meter of crude oil production, accounting for 25% of the total cost, and avoids pollution and waste
