Energy consulting and testing and certification company DNV KEMA will invest around 70 million euros to expand its high-capacity laboratory in Arnhem, the Netherlands, which is already supported
by the majority of DNV KEMA shareholders and the group company DNV.
According to the plan, DNV KEMA will increase the number of short-circuit generators from four to six, expand the available test space, and significantly increase
its test capacity and capacity.
The expansion is scheduled to be completed in 2015, when DNV KEMA will have the world's only independent laboratory
offering ultra-large capacity testing for power products of 800 kV and above.
