Phenol ester type base lubricating oil has good oxygen resistance
A phenol ester type basic grease preparation method developed by Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemical Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has been authorized
by a national patent.
The method includes a two-step esterification reaction, first β-3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenylpropionic acid and polyol esterification reaction to obtain hydroxyl compounds with antioxidant groups, and then the resulting hydroxyl compounds and monoorganic acids are fully esterified, and finally antioxidant phenol ester base grease
is obtained.
In addition to the lubricating properties of general greases, the biggest advantage of the base grease synthesized by this method is that it has antioxidant properties and does not require the addition of antioxidants, thereby eliminating the influence of the tolerance between
antioxidants and base grease.
