Domestic SD paraffin hydrogenation catalyst was put into use
Recently, the SD paraffin hydrogenation catalyst independently developed by China Petrochemical Research Institute has been successfully applied
in Fushun Petrochemical's 200,000 tons/year high-pressure wax hydrogenation unit.
The No.
58 full wax refining product produced by the device, Saipot color 30, light stability 3, all indicators meet the requirements of technical agreement indicators, and the product properties all meet the factory requirements
of Fushun paraffin wax products.
In 2010, after Fushun Petrochemical Company's petroleum plant No.
1 was relocated to petroleum plant No.
2, the hydrogenation catalyst was replaced
by a 200,000 tons/year high-pressure wax hydrogenation unit.
According to the characteristics of high-pressure paraffin and microcrystalline wax hydrogenation of Fushun Petrochemical, the Daqing Chemical Research Center of Petrochemical Institute optimized and improved the preparation process of SD paraffin hydrogenation catalyst, so that the product quality of the prepared catalyst met the requirements
under the conditions of high space velocity and low hydrogen-to-oil ratio.
In September 2012, the 200,000 tons/year high-pressure wax hydrogenation unit completed the relocation of the plant, and the catalyst loading began in October and was successfully
started in one start.
In 2005, Fushun Petrochemical Company built the world's largest and the only set of high-pressure paraffin/microcrystalline wax hydrogenation device in China, and the hydrogenation catalyst has been using the SD paraffin hydrogenation catalyst developed by the Petrochemical Institute, realizing the switching production of 54#, 56#, 58#, 60#, 64#, 66# paraffin wax and 70# microcrystalline wax, and the product quality has reached the US FDA food grade paraffin quality standards
