Evonik Industries (Evonik) has used its DEGAROUTE?high-performance and durable cold-molded two-component acrylic road marking system to lay red and white non-slip zebra crossings
in front of the campuses of Liyuan Primary School, Renhe Street Primary School and Jiangnan Primary School in Chongqing.
Evonik is in response to the UN's call for a decade of action for road safety 2011~2020, which aims to improve road safety in China and stabilize and reduce road fatalities
by providing high-quality and durable road marking technology.
In the future, Evonik also plans to volunteer the laying of coloured zebra crossings
for primary and secondary schools in several cities in China.
