Daqing Petrochemical produces new HDPE products

Recently, the second full-density unit of Daqing Petrochemical Company successfully produced the first high-density polyethylene product DMDA8920, which was fully qualified
by the product index and density after laboratory analysis.
The product has good tensile and fracture resistance, and can be used in the production of
buckets, containers, toys and daily plastic products.

According to reports, this is the first time to use hexene as a comonomer to produce polyethylene resin
after the start of the full-density second unit of the plastic plant.
Since the start of construction on September 5, the plant has mainly produced low-density polyethylene
from butene as comonomer.
DMDA8920 is a high-density product, this time without stopping, replacing the copolymer monomer grade switching density span is large, some control parameters are still theoretical parameters, need to be explored and adjusted in practice, increasing the difficulty and risk
of grade switching.
