LANXESS offers a series of membrane modules for water treatment

At the 2013 International Desalination Association (IDA) World Congress held in Tianjin on October 20~25, Lanxess of Germany (Lanxess) presented its Lewabrane series of membrane module products
.
Lewabrane products are made of roll-type composite polyamide membranes designed for industrial water treatment and drinking water treatment
.
The current portfolio includes products
for brackish water and low-salinity water desalination.
The main application areas include boiler feed water for the preparation of power stations, wastewater treatment, groundwater remediation, etc
.
This technology is also used for desalination and the removal of tiny particles
in microchip production.

The Lewabrane portfolio includes standard HR series high salt rejection membranes and HF series high yield water membranes, as well as LE series ultra-low pressure membranes and FR series anti-fouling membrane elements
.
HR series high salt rejection reverse osmosis membranes have extremely low salt transmission under normal operating conditions, and the salt retention rate under standard conditions exceeds 99.
7%.

In addition, it also has a very high retention rate
for particles such as silica.
The HF series of anti-fouling membrane modules provides high water yield and high salt rejection rate

The operating pressure of LE ultra-low pressure membrane modules is about
20%~40% lower than that of the standard product series.
Key application areas include brackish water desalination in industry, municipal and wastewater treatment

FR series anti-fouling membrane elements are characterized by a high degree of polymerization and low surface charge, which reduces the accumulation
of dissolved solids on the membrane surface.
In addition, a special dosing gasket is integrated into these anti-fouling membrane products, which can effectively enhance the turbulence probability in the membrane and reduce the accumulation
of particles in the membrane.
