Alfa Laval launches new pharmaceutical heat exchangers
Alfalaval has launched the Compabloc FreeFlow
, a highly efficient all-welded plate heat exchanger developed specifically for pharmaceutical applications.
Compabloc FreeFlow has excellent heat exchange performance, requiring a much smaller heat transfer area than shell-and-tube or graphite heat exchangers of the same size, which is only 1/5 the size of shell-and-tube type, but the heat transfer effect is even better

Compared with shell-and-tube or graphite heat exchangers, it can operate under
less temperature differential conditions.
