Ashland Mumbai opens new Nursing Products Technology Centre

Ashland's Specialty Products business unit has opened a new Nursing Specialty Technology Center
in Mumbai, India.
With specialized formulations in the hair, skin, oral and home care sectors, the center focuses on bringing innovative personal and home care products to market and providing technical support, aiming to support
manufacturers of personal and home care products in the Indian and Southeast Asian markets.

Currently, the Indian personal care products market is growing
rapidly at an annual rate of 15%.
Linda Foltis, vice president of Ashland's Care R&D Division, said the opening of the Mumbai Care Technology Center demonstrates the company's shift of R&D efforts to the booming Indian market to support personal and home care manufacturing customers in the emerging market to further enhance their innovation capabilities
