Silane-based products improve coating
flexibilityWACKER will be presenting its new SILRES BS 6921 silley-based binder at ECS®2019 from March 19 to 21
.
The product is based on alpha silane technology and is significantly more flexible than its predecessor, SILRES®BS 6920
.
This low-viscosity alpha silane terminated polyether is itself glass-transparent; Once it reacts with moisture in the air, it can be quickly cured; It remains transparent after curing, resulting in a more flexible coating and excellent stain resistance; After the addition of light stabilizer, even when exposed to sunlight or other light sources, no yellowing is
ensured.
The product has been specially developed
for use with SILRES®BS 6920 products.
The addition of antifouling coatings for concrete floors produced with SILRES®BS 6920 binders significantly increases the flexibility of the end product and makes it more resistant to thermal expansion and mechanical deformation
.
This hybrid product has excellent adhesion and is suitable for parking garages, car repair shops, station buildings, logistics centers, exhibition and sales venues, restaurants, event and conference halls, museums and private residences, with floors treated for easy care and easy removal
of scuffs, dirt and spilled liquids.
