WACKER introduces new polymeric binders for concrete and construction

WACKER will be presenting its latest polymer binders
at the International Coatings Show in Nuremberg on March 19~21, 2013.

For the first time, WACKER will present the ETONIS?260
for concrete for laying railway tunnel pathways.
Porosity is a major feature
of this new polymer improved concrete.
Because it contains many cavities, this concrete will have good water permeability, which can more effectively remove moisture in the tunnel, especially greatly reduce the probability of forming puddles or stagnant water at the tunnel entrance, which is conducive to the rapid removal of a large amount of disaster relief and firefighting water in the event of a disaster; The cavity also has a sound dampening function to help reduce noise

Polymer-modified permeable concrete is often used to lay flat lanes
about 16 centimeters thick in the middle and sides of railroad tracks, which can be operated smoothly by road vehicles.

In addition, ETONIS?260 optimizes the performance of
freshly mixed concrete as well as hardened concrete.

WACKER will also present VINNAPAS® 5111 L for concrete self-leveling mortars and VINNAPAS LL 5518 H for
hydrophobic treatment.
The former has low viscosity, has good advection auxiliary function, can make the mortar surface uniform and flat, and has excellent wear resistance, bending strength and compressive strength

At the same time, it has better defoaming properties, so that the mortar is free of bubbles, and can be used to formulate self-leveling mortars
with very low volatile organic compound content.
As a result, it meets the latest environmental and safety standards
