    Polymethoxydimethyl ether enables controlled polymerization

    A few days ago, the technology of "ionic liquid catalyzed synthesis of polymethoxydimethyl ether" completed by Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences passed the appraisal
    of scientific and technological achievements organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Gansu Province.
    The appraisal committee said that the technology realized the controllable synthesis of polymethoxydimethyl ether (DMM2~8), which provided a good way
    out for the development of coal-based methanol industry.
    It is expected to change the consumption structure of methanol and ensure national energy security, achieve the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction, and have great strategic significance and significant economic benefits
    for the synthesis of clean fuel technology for non-petroleum raw materials.
    The research results have original and independent intellectual property rights, and have reached the international leading level
