    Honeywell today announced that its spray foam roof system manufactured with Solstice liquid foam has achieved FM hail resistance certification and the highest rating

    Developed by Ohio-based West Development, the rooftop system is the first to be certified by FM Global, one of the world's largest property and casualty insurers, to help reduce insurance costs
    for homeowners.

    Solstice liquid blowing agent, also known as Solstice LBA, is Honeywell's next-generation low global warming potential (GWP) product with a GWP of 1, which is much lower than existing hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) blowing agents

    The use of this foaming agent can expand the closed-cell structure spray foam insulation material to maximize the thermal insulation performance
    of the foam.
    Spray foam roofing systems with Solstice LBA save energy, resist high winds and hail, and also protect the substrate layer from hail or wind-entrained objects

    This spray foam roof system has been proven to work
    in hurricanes, hail, or other severe weather conditions.
