The project of oil-algae to biodiesel passed the acceptance
A few days ago, ENN Technology Development Co.
, Ltd.
undertook the national "863" plan project "carbon dioxide-oil algae-biodiesel key technology research" through the expert acceptance
organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
After more than two years of research, the project constructed a marine production capacity oil algae germplasm resource bank and information database with independent intellectual property rights in China, screened out 13 strains of oil algae that can efficiently fix carbon dioxide and can be cultivated on a large scale, developed an efficient carbon dioxide absorption device and photobioreactor, and built oil algae oil production pilot bases
in Langfang, Inner Mongolia and Hainan.
The project has obtained more than 70 patented technologies
in the fields of algae seed screening, photobioreactor, oil extraction and biodiesel preparation.
Due to its large biological mass, short growth cycle, easy cultivation and high lipid content, oil algae is considered to be the most potential oil biomass resource, which can be prepared and produced by absorbing carbon dioxide through photosynthesis
