    A few days ago, two scientific research achievements of China Petrochemical Research Institute were authorized
    by national invention patents.
    The two patent achievements are a catalyst composition of ethylene oligomerization and its use, a polyolefin nucleating agent and its preparation and application
    .

    1-octene, 1-hexene and other linear α-olefins are important chemical products and intermediates, although 1-octene, 1-hexene in the chemical industry has important application value, but there is no ethylene oligomerization highly selective synthesis of 1-octene and 1-hexene technology
    .
    The content of 1-octene and 1-hexene in the oligomers obtained by traditional ethylene oligomerization technology is not high
    .
    To this end, researchers from the Petrochemical Institute developed a chromium-based catalyst system with ethylene oligomerization, which selects two ligands to improve the selectivity of 1-octene and 1-hexene and improve the activity of the catalyst
    .
    The action of the two ligands of the chromium catalyst makes the ethylene trimer and tetramerization reaction occur at the same time, which is conducive to the highly selective generation of 1-octene and 1-hexene, so the catalyst has the characteristics of high activity and less by-product polyethylene, and the selectivity of 1-octene and 1-hexene is greater than 85%.


    The addition of nucleating agent in the polypropylene granulation process can promote the crystallization of polypropylene and improve its grain structure, thereby improving the transparency, rigidity, impact and heat distortion temperature of the product

    The invention patent of polyolefin nucleating agent provides a nucleating agent for polypropylene, polyethylene and other polyolefin materials and its preparation and application, which can significantly improve the transparency, tensile strength, flexural strength, impact strength and other properties
