Membrane Separation Collaborative Innovation Center was established
The Collaborative Innovation Center for Membrane Separation Technology was recently established
in Tianjin Polytechnic University.
The center is led by Tianjin Polytechnic University, and is composed of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tianjin University, China Academy of Textile Sciences, Eco-Environmental Research Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tianjin Institute of Seawater Desalination and Comprehensive Utilization of
State Oceanic Administration, CNOOC Tianjin Chemical Industry Research and Design Institute and Tianjin Membrane Technology Co.

Based on the needs of national and regional economic and social development, especially for the urgent needs of sewage and wastewater treatment and recycling, seawater desalination and resource core technologies, the center has set four major research directions
: membrane materials and preparation technology, membrane separation process, membrane integration equipment and application technology, and membrane separation technology evaluation and safety (operation and maintenance technology).
