Issue 37, 2014 - The 6th "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Award" was awarded in Beijing

On September 23, at the third meeting of the 39th Council of the Chinese Chemical Industry Society held in Beijing, the honorary awards
of the sixth "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Award" were solemnly awarded.

It is reported that since the beginning of 2014, the Chinese Chemical Industry Society has carried out the evaluation of the sixth "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Award" in accordance with the provisions of the "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Award Award Award Incentive Measures", and after the procedures of preliminary evaluation, centralized evaluation, secret ballot and other procedures of the "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Award" evaluation committee, the final selection is to be awarded the "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Award" achievement award, eleven innovation awards and nine youth awards (see the table below for details).

。 At the award ceremony, three comrades including Yu Jianguo of East China University of Science and Technology won the sixth "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Achievement Award", eleven comrades including Chen Mingliang of Shanghai Research Institute of Chemical Industry won the sixth "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Innovation Award", and Bai Chenxi of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other nine comrades won the sixth "Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Youth Award"
.

Li Yongwu, chairman of the China Chemical Industry Society and president of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, said at the award ceremony that the winners of the Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Award have made outstanding achievements and contributions in research and development, scientific and technological innovation and technology transfer, especially the outstanding young chemical science and technology talents emerging from the Youth Award, which will become the hope and example
of China's chemical science and technology progress.
It is hoped that the majority of chemical science and technology workers will learn from them and make new and greater contributions
to the progress of chemical science and technology and the comprehensive, rapid, coordinated and sustainable development of the chemical industry.
