    Recently, Sinopec Shengli Oilfield took the lead in undertaking the national "863" project - key technologies of microbial oil recovery - passed the mid-term inspection
    organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
    The research on microbial flooding technology of high-temperature oil reservoirs undertaken by Shengli Oilfield has been affirmed
    by the expert group.
    Since the implementation of this project, the comprehensive moisture content of the experimental block has decreased by 3.
    2 percentage points, and the cumulative oil increase has reached 22,800 tons as of July 2014

    The microbial flooding technology project for medium and high temperature reservoirs is jointly undertaken by Sinopec Shengli Oilfield, PetroChina Science and Technology Research Institute and Daqing Huali Company, and the ultimate goal of the project is to achieve field test EOR of more than 5%, and initially establish a domestic microbial oil recovery demonstration project

    According to reports, the research group conducted systematic analysis and research on the microbial communities of typical medium and high temperature oil reservoirs in Shengli Oilfield, and carried out field experiments
