Roehm recently
launched a new methacrylate (MMA) monomer brand MERACRYL^TM and sells its methacrylate monomer products under the brand name to replace the original brand name VISIOMER^®
.
As the world's second largest MMA producer, ROHM's new unified brand of MERACRYL^TM will bring together monomer products
such as MMA, methacrylic acid, butyl methacrylate, hydroxy ester and methacrylamide.

In paint and coating applications, MERACRYLTM methacrylate monomers impart excellent color stability and durability
to substrates.
In architectural applications, MERACRYLTM methacrylate monomer improves durability, freeze-thaw stability and emulsion stability.

This methacrylate monomer can also be widely used in polymer production and modification, manufacturing products
such as cast sheets, methacrylate molding compounds (PMMA), artificial marble and PVC modifiers.
