ADNOC and Reliance Industries to build ethylene dichloride plant Recently, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) have signed a framework agreement to explore the construction of ethylene dioxide (EDC) production plant

in Ruwais.
The facility will be built near
the ADNOC refinery-chemical integration joint project in Ruwais.
ADNOC will be responsible for providing the ethylene feedstock and infrastructure, and RIL will be responsible for the sales of the product in the
Indian market.

Nikil Meswani, Executive Director of RTL, said: "This is an important step towards integration for Reliance and will pave the way
for increasing PVC production capacity in India to meet the rapidly growing domestic market demand.
This collaboration combines the UAE's raw material and energy advantages with the execution of Reliance Industries and the growing Indian market
